Let them

This quote resonates within me. It is so true. People are so quick to dismiss what they have and take it for granted… But things can be lost.

It’s easy to dismiss someone, to have disregard for someones love and attention. You can be so spoilt that you take it for granted.

Be careful for those moments where you insult and dismiss, it’s very easy to be like everyone else and have what everyone has when it comes to love and your relationship.

What’s hard is being different. It’s special when it’s different. But dismiss that and you can fall into the normal boring everyday thing, what everyone does.  When that happens and you realise you no longer have the special attention, affection and love, it will be too late.

Would you wait?

Would you wait for me at the ocean if you knew one day we would meet?

Would you wait for me to come and join you and save me an open seat?

Would you wait for hours in the longest line if you knew you’d be forever mine?

Would you dance to the music I hold dear if dancing was your greatest fear?

Would you swim in dangerous waters so deep if you knew my heart would be yours to keep?

Would you wait for me to wake every morning so my smile is the first thing you see?

Would you wait for me to fight my inner demons if together we’ll then forever be?

Would you wait until I say I do…because I would wait baby, I’d wait for you..

Go ahead, take it for granted…

It’s something often said… Men are all the same. I think the reason for this is that they really give us more reason to believe that than what they give us reason not too. That being said, women are also all the same. So when you complain about the usual stuff there is some common ground.

So when you actually finally meet someone man or women, that is willing to go above and beyond for you and actually enjoy things most others would complain about, would you consider yourself lucky? Would you consider yourself fortunate? Would you then try and be an even better you to accommodate that person? Or would you simply take it for granted? “I am who I am” …Forget that you are fortunate to not have reason to complain?

…. Very sad, but even given everything on a platter without having to go to any effort, you’ll no doubt not see it. You’ll just shrug it off, say “oh well, I can’t help it”… And you’ll say those words right up to the point where you loose what is given to you so freely on a platter, and you’ll be left wanting.

Don’t complain then! Don’t complain when you are without! Life is short, your window to have the things you love and can indulge in is brief.

I am

I am but a whisper, a silent breeze, floating freely. Ten thousand tiny lights move in and out, a kaleidoscope of brilliance and beauty.

I enlighten the soul, carve etchings of words onto the heart. I leave my silent mark. Once my touch has been felt it is remembered.

I am craving and I am lust. I intertwine with feelings of friendship, with soft spoken words, intangible thoughts and feelings.

I uplift, I overwhelm, I care freely. I am abundant and filled with joy. I’m soft raindrops against a window, a meadow filled with Spring blooms.

I hold no value for monetary things, I have no need for gifts. I fill an empty space, join together broken bonds, mend fractured souls, give life.

I sing and I am music to all.

I am LOVE.

My friend, my lover, my love

To my Love

I’ll never forget the moment I realized I loved you. In every hug and soft embrace I feel cradled in your strength and safety.

You are…
My friend, my lover, my love

The sound of your voice lights my soul, our conversations something I treasure and long for every day.

You are…
My friend, my lover, my love

As I gaze upon your beautiful face, I’m filled with so much joy and overwhelming happiness.

You are…
My friend, my lover, my love

Lovingly gentle, supportive and caring, you make me sparkle, you make me shine.

You are…
My friend, my lover, my love

The way you say you love me, my most favorite words

You are…
My friend, my lover, my love

I love you … I love you so!
